Framing your prints
For best Care
As much as I know you'll want to show off your new print to everyone, I would highly recommend that you avoid handling it as much as possible before having it framed. In fact I would suggest you take it straight to your framer and have them open the cylinder and remove it. Now, I say this because I've been a professional art framer for over 20 years, and the number of times I've had clients bring in beautiful art prints with handling damage would shock you. I pride myself on producing quality work and when you see damage like this, it is upsetting.
If you don't have a regular framer who you know and trust, check that they are using and quoting you on archival quality materials. This includes, backing boards, matting boards if used and glass.
